My David Usher Night

David Singing
Originally uploaded by Mandy No Good.
After one night I realized asking my mom to take me downtown on Saturday, would be a bad idea, I decided to ask my dad. And amazingly he was very willing. Who knew! Anyways so we (My friend, myself and my dad) head downtown about 8. We got there at 8:45 and I basically saw the stage and ran towards the area. Then I realized there was a line, but thank god it wasnt long, cuz I would have been pissed. So we got into the stage area in about 5min flat and from there I worked my way forward into the crowd. My friend has a bit of an issue with other human contact so she got all scared, lol. It was actually a very funny sight. Anyways there was some random woman on satge, but at least her music was good. At that point we were 6 rows of ppl back. When thelady came off the stage we were able to move ourselves to the 2nd row, which was great. After about 15mins of random radio music, David and the band come out. And it was all screams from there. It was insane. His live performance is amazing. He was so energized and active. He never actually stood still, so getting a good shot was really hard. Um what else, so basically I was singing at the top of my lungs with everyone else.It was really an amzing concert. I was making a video with my camera but because I was bobbing and dancing u see David but also a lot of waves also. He also stopped and talk to the fans once in a while. And he always thanked us for coming after every song. Someone in the crowd shouted "Take It Off" and he yells back "You take it off, first!" It was funny especially since he was grinning about it. Then he was like "Wouldnt it be funny if the whol crowd was naked and the band was the only one clothed!", lol. Then at some other random point he sang a bit of the Blood Hound Gang song ---"do it like they do in the discovery channel"--- it was funny when the violin girl joined in, and he stopped and looked at her. lol. Um what else, there was one point a fan shouted something and he couldnt hear her, so he was like, "What's that? I can't understand you!" Then he corrected himself "Wait, its not that I cant understand you I just could hear you!" and he laughed. I liked how during the performance he walked back and forth once in a while and look at his audience, that was cool. ANd they went off stage three times and came back on twice last time, was final. We never left each time they left just in case they came back. He also played songs from all 4 of his albums and he played "Silver". At the end of it all we wanted to know if he was gonna give autographs and the security dude told us to go around the corner, so we did and we waited like 5mins, to get my cd selves signed, shake his hand, get a hug and get a picture, and most important of all to say hi!I cant believe how giddy I was my dad called me an idoit later, but its okay. When I got hom I realized I made like 11 short videos of David, its funny to watch them over. ANYWAYS so yeah thats my story, of my David Night! I hope I get to see him again live, cuz that was an amazing concert experience!

So I'm as happy as one girl can be!
